folk art from the Erzgebirge is up to date

The folk art workshops from the Erzgebirge in the toy village of Seiffen and the surrounding area always strive to offer their customers something new. The creative inventors try to reflect the current trend in their products. This is how new nutcrackers, incense smokers, Easter bunnies & Co. are regularly created in a new guise, but without forgoing the traditional production. In so-called series or rows of certain product categories, buyers are often offered new products every year that collectors in particular are eagerly awaiting. Outstanding are the gnomes and nutcrackers from the manufactory Christian Ulbricht, miniatures from Hubrig Volkskunst or figures from Romy Thiel. Candle arches, for example from Weigla, also come in a new design in addition to the classic motifs. Furthermore completely new creations are created, which then develop into bestsellers.
